Account
Account is one of the most important features in Pou.
Creating an Account
First of all, the user taps the small Pou icon. The user will see the popup asking user to type user's email. Once the email is typed, it will check if email was used in the game before. If it wasn't, the popup will appear asking is that the user's new Pou, and the user must accept the popup's question if they think everything is all right. Next, the user needs to answer the Captcha code from the popup image. Finally, the user types the password and the account is created.
Uses
An account is used for:
- Playing games with friends.
- Saving the progress of your Pou.
- Adding/removing people as friends.
- Chatting with friends.
- Send guestbook messages.
- And more!
You can still use Pou if you don't want to create an account and want to play as a guest, but when you play as a guest, you won't be able to use the features mentioned above.
It is highly recommended to create an account, because when you uninstall the game and later reinstall it without creating one, your progress will get lost.
You also can play the Four Pous and Tic Tac Pou minigames (these games require a Pou account to play).
Please note that you have to be at least thirteen years old to have the friends feature!
Deleting your account
If you want to delete your Pou account, follow these steps:
- Go to the Pou panel (the Level button), at the top right corner (
); - Go to Account (
); - Press the Delete Pou and Account button =
; - You will see a second warning asking if you are sure to delete the account; so you just type "delete" and your account will be deleted.
*Note: If you delete your Pou account, you will lose all your saved progress permanently, this action cannot be undone.
