Friends
Friends is a function that exists in Pou. To have this function enabled, firstly you must be over 13 years old. If the user is under 13 years old, social networks will be disabled and the user will not be able to access the Friends tab.
In the Friends function, you will have five options: Search, Favorites, Likers, Visitors and Guestbook.
Search
This is the research part. You can look for some other Pou in this part. It is also divided into 4 search tabs: Search by nickname, Search by email, Search by random Pou and Top Likes.
Search by Nickname
When creating a Pou account, the user must enter a nickname so that their account is accessible to other Pous (or, if they have not entered a name, the game itself will give the account a name). This nickname can be searched in the 'Search by nickname' section.
Search by Email
This is completely related to the email used on Pou during account creation. This function will only be useful if you already know the email used in the Pou account or if you want to search for a Pou account by a specific email.
Search by Random Pou
This function will be independent of any method. Just search randomly and you will visit a completely random Pou, with no search exceptions.
Top Likes

Top Likes is the way to search for the most liked Pou accounts. The twenty most-liked Pous will be displayed. In this list, it's not possible to search for more Pous besides the top twenty.
Favorites
In the Favorites section, the Pous that you liked will appear. The number of favorites you have also will appear in the menu.
Likers
In the Likers section, only the Pous who liked you will appear. Just like in the favorites section, the number of Likes your Pou account has will also appear.
Visitors
In the visitors section, all the Pous that visited you will appear, sequenced by the time they visited. In this section, it will not depend on like or favorite, only the Pous that visited you will appear.
Guestbook
Guestbook is where a Pou can communicate with another Pou through messages already programmed by the game. Messages will appear translated into the language you selected when using Pou. Read more about the Guestbook.
Like / Dislike
Like is an interactive way for the user to favorite a Pou, as a friend or for any other reason. When visiting a Pou, a star will appear and, when pressed, the Pou will be favorited and added to your favorites list. Likewise, this Pou will receive your like, which will count towards that Pou's Like count. Likes and Favorites work together.
When creating a Pou account, Pou will start with 0 likes. The count of likes will be done by an 'x', indicating how many times the Likes star was clicked.
You (and the other Pou) can also remove the Like by clicking on the star again when it is already selected. The number of Likes, after a dislike, will reduce by 1 after removing the Like.
As previously stated, the Pous with the most Likes will appear in the list of most liked Pous (Top Likes).
The game considers it a 'Friend' when the Pou you liked also liked you. This makes the star complete, forming a friendship in the game.

Like's sound
When you Like a Pou, this sound is played:
The sound is a confirmation that the Like has been given. The other Pou will thank you (making the same tickling gesture).
Note: This sound is only played when you Like a Pou. When you remove the Like, no sound is played.
Limitations
Since version 1.4.106 (February 3, 2023), you can only perform up to 5000 social interactions a day. This includes liking, unliking, messaging and visiting a user.
When you reach this limit, the message "You've done too many social actions today. Please try again tomorrow" is shown.
This restriction was added to prevent users from performing excessive, automated social interactions.
Trivia
Errors
- Any number that has been filled in (favorite or like) will remain filled even after a Pou has been deleted. (ex: if a Pou was deleted and he liked your Pou, you will continue with the Like that this deleted Pou gave).
- If you press the Like star icon repeatedly, you can make the game think that an action (liking or unliking) has been done multiple times. This could lead to the game showing a negative amount of favorites if you repeatedly performed an unliking action with one Pou.
