Different users have access to different functions of the site. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing, staff members can access a few additional functions.

Staff abilities
Moderator abilities
Moderators, despite being part of the lowest-ranking staff position, can do the following:
- Delete and restore pages (including its histories) and uploaded files.
- Lock (protect) a page so it cannot be edited or renamed by regular users.
- Revert user edits (generally vandalism) with a few steps (rollback).
Administrator abilities
Administrators have the same functions as a moderator, but also include more, which are the following:
- Block users who break the Code of Conduct of Poupedia.
- Editing the interface and internal code of the site.
Bureaucrat abilities
Bureaucrats are the users with the highest privileges on Poupedia. They can make other users staff members on the site.

How can I become a staff member?
To become a staff member, you need the following requirements:

Demotion of rights
If a staff member has been inactive for over 60 days, they will have their rights removed, this also applies to staff members who are mostly inactive and don't contribute the site in an active way.
Staff members should never use their powers to violate the Code of Conduct of Poupedia, if a staff member is caught violating one of the policies of the code (e. g. abuse of power, vandalism, harassment, etc.), they will be demoted immediately.
