Status
The status bars keep track of Pou's hunger, health, fun, and energy levels. The percentages are visible by tapping the meters on top of the screen.
Stats
Food
The hunger bar dries up when Pou doesn't eat. It dries even faster if Pou plays mini-games for a while. Pou will become hungry after its energy bar drops below 31%. When it drains to 30%, Pou will be hungry, getting teary-eyed and serious. The average duration for Pou to go without eating is approximately of five or six hours (if Pou doesn't play minigames).
Health
Pou's health bar serves to indicate the level of health it has. The health bar also takes the longest time among Pou's four statuses. Its health can decrease twice as fast if Pou is hungry for a long time, if its fun bar is below 50%, or if Pou is sleepy for a long time. Pou will become sick if its health bar is below 50%. Pou will have a thermometer in its mouth and its eyes will be swollen. To take care of this issue, just give Pou a health or max potion.
Fun
The minigames increase Pou's fun. If the player doesn't tickle Pou or play any games with it, the bar will get empty and Pou will lose its smile. Playing with the ball, playing a minigame, or just tickling Pou brings the meter up.
Energy
Pou becomes tired after a time of playing games, the player can put it to bed or use an energizer or max potion to replenish the bar whenever Pou is tired.
Trivia
- Pou will stop smiling if the sum of its Food, Health, Fun, and Energy bars, with the Fun bar multiplied by two, is less than 30%, and it will start frowning when that number gets below 20%.
- When Pou is being tickled, the Energy bar will slowly deplete. If you still keep tickling Pou, it will decrease faster than you think. This is probably because of a bug, or Pou gets tired when you tickle it.
- The Heath bar could be the only bar that doesn't completely decrease.
