An untitled sequel to Pou was confirmed to be in production by Paul Salameh in the official X (Twitter) page of the game.[1] The game still does not have any footage or screenshots as of August 1, 2024.
Many speculate the game to be in 3D, due to the latest images in the X (then Twitter) and Facebook pages being in 3D. Additionally, on the end of every Pou update log, the following sentence appears: "Sorry for late updates, we're STILL working on something BIG! ^_^".
Trivia
- There are numerous unofficial attempts to create a Pou 2.
- There is a game with the same title by Joo Studios with the package name "com.poo.po". The game looks identical to the real Pou, except all black-colored graphics are replaced with white. No APK of the game can be found, thus this game is either considered lost or non-exisetent.
- There also exists platformer game by Korsa Live[2]. The game is a clone of Super Octopus World Jungle Adventure[3], which in turn is a clone of Moy's World. Pou's face is replaced by that of Momo, the playable character from Super Octopus World Jungle Adventure.
- A third Pou 2 attempt can be seen in this trailer, with many items and food replaced with characters from popular culture.
- There is a fourth game entitled Game Pou 2[4], which is a yellow version of the game Poo 2 (who is light blue).
- There is also a lost fifth version made by "games public"[5]. The icon of the app is a baby Pou with eyeglasses, although the preview images show screenshots from Moy 5.
- It is likely that the game will have 3D graphics, based on images posted on the Pou X page in late 2020 and early 2021.
