Zakeh Ltd., trademarked as Zakeh is a Lebanese video game company founded by Paul Salameh, known for creating the mobile game Pou, which it's the only game in their Google Play account as of November 2022.
History
Before the development of Pou, many of the company's games were based on Lebanese politics. One of Zakeh's games, called Persian Maze (2010), had the sound effects been reused on the future game Pou.
On August 5, 2012, Pou was released on Google Play, and became a commercial success, with over 500 million downloads and a 4.4/5.0 rating on the platform as of November 4, 2022.
Pou, has since then grown in popularity, to the point that Brazillian Pou user Eduarda Oesama Kynlia (also known as OesKy), known for creating the Portuguese translation on the game, has been hired as a freelance artist for Zakeh since May 2022.
