Ban is a type of restriction on a Pou account given by Pou moderators or developer Paul Salameh. There are two types of bans within Pou: temporary and permanent. The reasons for a ban are:

  • Unlimited (hacked) coins;
  • Inappropriate name (upcoming);
  • Fake likes;
  • Automatized methods;
  • Hack;
  • Cheat (or using a cheat-app, like Game Guardian).

Sometimes when an account saves all purchased items, this can generate a bug within the game server, causing the account to be automatically banned.

When a player is banned, they are removed from the account. If it was a temporary ban, the following message will appear: "Oh no! There was a problem loading your Pou. Please try again or contact us.". If the Pou account has been permanently banned, the player does not have any messages. Also, when banned, the Pou account will not cause the items the account had to be lost, but the nickname and email used can no longer be recovered (unless the account is unbanned, but only if it is a temporary ban).

When searching for the name of a Pou who has been banned, the search simply won't load. It is impossible to view a Pou that has been banned (ex: Like2like).
