Camera
The Camera is a feature in Pou in which the player can take a screenshot of the screen with their Pou on it. It is a white camera icon located on the top of the screen. While in the Rooms, the camera is found in the upper left, beside the left arrow, while in the Minigames where it appears, it is to the right of the pause button.
Usage
When the player taps on the camera, the playing game will pause, a camera sound effect will play, and a screenshot of the game will generate. On the left of the image is the room where Pou is (in minigames, either the score or the round). On the right of the image are the name of the minigame (if playing one) and the player's username (when logged out of the game, the word Pou! is written instead).
Tapping on Save below the screen will save the image directly to the device's storage (it no works anymore due an Android policy) while pressing Share will share it. The in-game photo album is found on the upper-left of the screen, where photos are stored before exporting. The player can either export or delete them.
Sound
When the camera is clicked, it will make a camera sound.
Trivia
General
- The camera does not appear in minigames that use the Game Colors function, with the exception of Pou Popper and Star Popper.
- When visiting a friend, both of their names will appear on the photo.
- The photo, when taken in a game, will show where Pou is looking; if taken outside of a game, Pou will always be looking at the screen, regardless of where you previously clicked.
Errors
- Before the version 1.4.93, its not possible to save images to the device's gallery, due to an Android privacy issue.
