Coins serve as an in-game currency in Pou. They resemble golden coins, they are progressively earned by playing with Pou.
Ways To Earn
Minigames
Depending on the minigame, coins are either picked up or progressively obtained by completing different objectives in the minigame.
Hill Drive (on mud), Match Tap, Cliff Jump and Free Fall will be your best options, as they give you more money faster!
Leveling Up
This can be done by simply taking care of Pou by doing daily activities like:
- Feeding them
- Restoring their health
- Cleaning them
- Entertaining them
- Restore their energy
Unlocking Achievements
This can be done by reaching goals in certain activities like:
- Eating
- Showering
- Healing
- Restoring energy (with potions)
- Playing minigames (games that don't have achievements are: Four Pous, Tic Tac Pou, Beach Volley and Sudoku)
- Watering flowers
Watching Ads
This can be done by tapping the coin with the "+" sign at the top left corner, after that, click on the coin with the video icon (if you have a decent connection), each ad should give 30 coins. You can also do this by duplicating your coins after finishing a minigame.
*If you earned less than 30 coins in a minigame, you can still earn 30 coins by watching the ad after finishing it.
Purchasing them with real money
To do this, you should tap the coin with the "+" sign at the top left corner, then select the option of coins you want and buy them.
- 2,000 coins: $0.99
- 6,000 coins: $2.49
- 15,000 coins: $4.99
- 50,000 coins: $12.49
- 125,000 coins: $24.99
*The prices are measured in US dollars, these amounts vary on the currency of your country.
Rubbing Pou when being sad
You can do this by placing your finger to pou and rub them, this will only work if their fun is below 100%.

If you haven't done this yet, tap the coin with the "+" sign at the top left corner, then tap the options that have the Facebook and Twitter images (this can only be done once).
Cleaning Pou
You can earn coins by simply showering your Pou
Per clean: With cloud: 5 coins, With shower and soap: 10 coins
Tapping on the Poos
They appear after a period of time, if they do, look for multi-colored poo-shaped forms around Pou, and tap them to get coins.
One poop: 5 coins
Watering the Flowers
To do this, you need to go to Pou's bedroom, then tap the door icon, when you're outside, go to your garden, grab the watering can and water them.
Per watering: 5 coins
Gifts (Events)
Note: Currently, events in Pou are not very frequent.
This can be done by logging in, saving your Pou data or playing an online game every certain time while an event is active.
Events are announced in Pou's Facebook or Twitter/X account. Coins amount may vary.
Usage
Coins are used to be spent on different things. They can be spent by buying Food, Clothes, Potions, and customizations, or if you're not leveled up enough to buy something, you can unlock it for 1,999 coins. (But you will need to buy it for it's original price afterwards)
Trivia
- Coins can also be obtained by hacking the game, but this is not recommended.
- Currently, the limit for coins is 2147483647, surpassing that number will make your coins lock to 0 until you reset the app, resetting your coins to 1.
- In Minigames, coins produce two sounds. Single coins make a little clinking sound, while clusters of coins make a loud rattling sound (the same one used when purchasing an item).
- When Pou gets coins while playing minigames outside, they will open their mouth wide, slightly lower it, and then finally close it.
