The massive success of Pou has lead into many games with the same style of gameplay. Here is a list of some of the most well-known and most obscure of these games. This list also includes games which feature Pou but are not made by Zakeh.

Virtual pet games

Note: This list only features non-animal virtual pet games with a gameplay similar to Pou. Take note that Tamagotchi cannot be on this list as it came decades before Pou.

Mou

Mou is a virtual pet game identical to Pou released for Windows devices. The game is nearly identical to Pou, the only difference being the character on the game resembles a baby Pou with an oval body.

Frojo Apps

Frojo Apps is an app developer from Uppsala, Sweden, whose games are primarily of the virtual pet genre. The company's mascot is a purple squid-like creature known as Moy, who appears in seven virtual pet games and more games of different genres. Frojo Apps also created similar playing games with different characters such as Loy (a blue boomerang-shaped character), Joy, (a light green character with arms), Meep (a blue character with arms), and many other animals such as dogs, cats, dinosaurs, and chickens.

My Boo

My Boo: Your Virtual Pet To Care and Play Games, simply known as My Boo, is a mobile virtual pet game by the Brazilian/Portuguese app company Tapps Games. The player takes care of a blue ball-shaped character named Boo, and the gameplay is similar to Pou.

My Chu

My Chu is a series of two virtual pet apps created by Latvian digital artist Apofiss. Chu's appearance and name is more similar to the previously mentioned My Boo, only that the main character is green instead of blue. A unique feature in this series is that the player collects bunnies and trading cards in order to unlock certain items. The second installment of the series features a little pink character called Bubble who often follows and interacts with the player's Chu.

My Virtual Tooth

My Virtual Tooth - Virtual Pet is a mobile virtual pet game created by Peaksel Games to teach children about practicing good oral hygiene. The players take care of a sentient tooth called Dee, however, taking care of it it similar to taking care of a Pou. The player may also brush the tooth with a giant toothbrush, similar to giving Pou a bath.

Potaty 3D

Potaty 3D (commonly referred by some players as Pou 3D) is a series of 3D virtual mobile pet games starring a cartoon potato.

Ivi - Virtual Pet

ivi - Virtual pet was a mobile virtual pet featuring a red-violet character. It is unknown why the game has been delisted from Google Play.

Bootleg games starring Pou

Pou Back Home

Pou Back Home is an unofficial Flash game involving Pou made by 5xplay.com. The goal of the each level in the game is to solve obstacles so that Pou can get back home. At the end of each level, regardless of each level, the person may get a predefined number of stars (usually depending on level score), and a glitch in coding in-game forced every level to be 3 stars (which is then considered a bug).

Pou Slacking

Pou Slacking is a series of Flash games in which Pou has to secretly complete missions while other Pous are watching. Pou's design in this game is similar to the art style of the real game, except that here Pou has two ball-shaped hands. The games in the series involve Pou Classroom Slacking, Pou Kitchen Slacking, Pou Halloween Slacking, and Pou Thanksgiving Slacking.

Various doctor/dentist games

Numerous Flash games website used to have notorious doctor simulator games, often using IPs from other companies without their permission. These games often have disturbing and violent cartoon imagery, with Pou being no exception. These games have significantly decreased after the discontinuation of Adobe Flash on December 31, 2020, however, some still remian on HTML5.
