Pou as a baby

Pou is a virtual pet app developed by Zakeh and released for Android, iOS and BlackBerry. Released by Zakeh around late August 2012, it soon became viral and was rated 4.4 by the players. It is updated sometimes, even Pou is no longer cuddlish, when, the Ponytail wig update was installed by the players. It is known that the character works as the logo.

Appearance

Pou is a weird-shaped alien with big buggy eyes and no legs or arms. It has a small smile which curls up to the left side of it's body. It is brown, but can be customized by color. Colors can be bought from the Shop.

Possibilities

Pou simulates parenting as the baby and the player as the parent, it is quite realistic. The player can feed Pou, play with it, tuck it in to sleep, give Pou medicine, clean it, talk to it and dress it up.

Trivia

• At first glance, Pou is often mistaken for poop.
• The game Pou farts/burps is not created by Zakeh and copies the original Pou and gave it the name "Pouf".
• Pou is based off a fake maori god.
• Some people enjoy abusing Pou.
• Pou is popular amongst Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking diaspora: this is why most videos, and "battles of the virtual pets", etc. are made in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
