An unlicensed plush toy of a [[Pou Emotions|hungry, tired]] baby Pou is often used in ironic memes, image macros, and videos, due to its bizarre froglike eyes and sad expression. Videos with the plushies in YouTube and TikTok involve depressing and oftentimes dark situations, such as standing in the shower sad, jumping off ledges to end their lives after their partners cheat on them, or getting frozen in water bottles or cups. The meme is often associated with a sped-up version of Rio Romeo's "[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5e4INH1yr9c Nothing's New]." Around the time the meme became popular, bootleg toy companies also began producing new variants of the plush, an entirely black Pou with a white mouth, and a white Pou with clown makeup similar to the {{W|Joker (character)|Joker}}. Both toys have also been used in memes.
