Coins serve as an in-game currency in Pou. They resemble golden coins, they are progressively earned by playing with Pou.
Ways To Obtain
- Minigames: Depending on the minigame, coins are either picked up or progressively obtained by completing different objectives in the minigame.
- Leveling Up: This can be done by simply taking care of him by covering his necessities.
- Unlocking Achievements: This can be done by reaching goals in certain activities.
- Watching Ads: This can be done by tapping the coin with the "+" sign at the top left corner, after that, click on the coin with the video icon (if you have a decent connection), each ad should give 30 coins.
- Purchasing them with real money: To do this, you should tap the coin with the "+" sign at the top left corner, then select the option of coins you want and buy them.
- Rubbing Pou when they're sad: You can do this by placing your finger to pou and rub him.
- Following the game's official Facebook and Twitter accounts: If you haven't done this yet, tap the coin with the "+" sign at the top left corner, then tap in both the options that have the Facebook and Twitter images (this can only be done once).

What to spend with them

- There is no limit for coins.
- In Minigames, coins produce two sounds. Single coins make a little clinking sound, while clusters of coins make a loud rattling sound (the same one used when purchasing an item).
- When Pou gets coins while playing minigames outside, they will open their mouth wide, slightly lower it, and then finally close it.
